Tout sur moi

Born on the East Coast, I was raised on a remote Montana ranch, was educated in New Hampshire, and spent some time at the Sorbonne University in Paris. With a love for travel, adventure, and learning firmly established at a young age, I elected to study creative writing and languages as a means of expressing all that I observe.

After university, I traveled extensively throughout the USA, Europe, and Africa. I have lived in London, Paris, Hawaii, Tahiti, San Francisco, and currently reside in Lyon, France. Whew!

I love to write--can't live without it! I maintain a strict schedule of writing five hours each morning. When I am not pounding away at the keyboard, I am concocting new ideas or allowing existing one to bubble away on the back burner of my mind until they are exquisite, rich and ready to write.

Finally, France has given me and my family so much these last ten years, I decided it was time to give back. 365 Things That I Love About France is my way of saying, "Thank you". It is a wonderful challenge to find something positive in my life every single day for one year. This blog is an opportunity to share my positive experiences of my extraordinary adopted country and her kind and generous people.

Read well, Love well, Live well,

Charley
